The emission intensity of Finland’s power generation has fallen below the upper limit set for green hydrogen and other renewable electric fuels in the regulation, according to Fingrid’s estimate.
Fingrid is constantly making network plans for the future in Eastern Finland, but we can only proceed when we know what kind of transmission lines and substation locations are needed to connect new electricity production and consumption.
Over the next ten years, Fingrid will invest a record EUR 3 billion in the main grid. This money will be used for the following purposes.
